VOLLAPN

Vocationally Oriented language Learning for Automotive Professions Network

The Leonardo Programme is part of the European Union’s Lifelong Learning Programme.

It supports UK vocational education and training (VET) organisations, staff and learners to work together with European partners to improve training, skills and employability.

ATT are pleased to be working with our partners in Europe to develop language training for automotive professional.

PAT Professional Automotive Training

PAT

ATT are once again working with colleagues in Slovakia and the Czech Republic to assist with the creation of professional automotive learning materials.

Automotive industry, as important part of Slovak economy, employs approx. 70.000 workers (https://www.sario.sk). The emergent problem of requirement for the increase in quality and vocational skilled work force has been recently recognized. Qualified employees for this field of work are educated at 9 Pilot Centres – secondary automotive vocational schools in Slovakia. All these institutions tackle the problem of the absence of appropriate educational materials for their key vocational subjects. Project “PAT” – “Professional Automotive Training” offers one of the possible solutions to this problem.

ENTER SK

ATT are pleased to be working again with colleagues in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The project know as ENTER SK is to develop vocational language training materials for Food preparation, cookery and hotel students.

The project focuses on the transfer of innovative teaching methodologies and approaches in vocational education. The development of vocational, ICT based language content related professions, will also aim to increase the quality of vocational education systems in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

As a partner, ATT is responsible for providing our high quality multimedia screens or resources such as images and videos to be used for language training in a vocational context.


EU Intercar

Intercar

The project aims at supporting innovative approaches to vocational foreign language learning (English, German and French) in specific field of Car repair, Service and Retail. This will be achieved through transfer of modern teaching methodologies developed in Slovakia and the UK and to adapt them to the specific needs of vocational education in Poland. Duration of the project is January 2011 – December 2012.

Car

Target group of the project teachers and students from schools teaching for automotive industry and all others interested in vocational foreign language learning. The project offers them access to modern, specialized educational materials, which are currently lacking on the Polish publishing market. These materials are primarily an interactive e-learning platform with modules for learning foreign languages (English, German and French), which consists of over 4,000 different exercises (such as 2D and 3D animations). In addition, during the project will be developed: textbooks for teachers and students, and Polish-English-German-French technical dictionary.

EU Leonardo da Vinci Project

ATT Training Ltd. is pleased to be actively participating and committing resources as a partner in an international project under the Leonardo da Vinci, Transfer of Innovation Programme.

VoLant

The project, Vocational Language Training (VoLanT) for students of vehicle repair related professions, focuses on the transfer of innovative teaching methodologies and approaches in vocational education. The development of vocational, ICT based language content related professions, will also aim to increase the quality of vocational education systems in the Slovak republic.

As a partner, ATT is responsible for providing our high quality multimedia screens or resources such as images, 2d and 3d animations, and videos to be used for language training in a vocational context.

We are also pleased to share our expert view on blended learning methodology, by participating in partner group meetings and study visits to Bratislava and Prague.
